METALLICA: Autographed 'So What!' Book Auctioned For Charity

October 12, 2005

An autographed copy of METALLICA's "So What! The Good, The Mad, and The Ugly" book is being auctioned on eBay, with all proceeds going to the Step Up Women's Network, a non-profit women's organization dedicated to providing community resources for underprivileged women and girls.

Published by Broadway Books and edited by Steffan Chirazi, full-time chronicler of the band and editor of "So What!" magazine, a quarterly that is mailed to the 22,000 members of the METALLICA fan club, "So What! The Good, The Mad, and The Ugly" includes original interviews, handwritten notes from the band, intimate journal entries and more than 1,000 exclusive photos. With the intimate involvement of band members, James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, guitarist Kirk Hammett and bassist Robert Trujillo and compiled with the hard and humorous attitude that has earned METALLICA their place in the rock-god stratosphere, "So What! The Good, The Mad, and The Ugly" provides an all-access pass to the backstage.
