Metal Fans Invited To ANTHRAX Video Shoot in New York

October 26, 2004

In celebration of the 20th Anniversary of being one of the few truly fan-friendly heavy metal bands in the world, ANTHRAX has offered an open invitation to headbangers around the country to participate in the filming of their latest video, an updated version of the classic cut "Deathrider", taken from the forthcoming release "The Greater Of Two Evils".

The video is being filmed at the new Snitch nightclub (59 West 21st Street; between 5th and 6th Avenues) on Thursday, October 28 between 10:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. The video is slated to contain everyone from your "average joe", to porn stars, the Naked Cowboy in Times Square, the hot strippers from TENs down the street, special celebrity guest appearances, and ample amounts of banging heads and slamming fists. In classic ANTHRAX form, "Deathrider" is designed to display the band in their natural setting, united among the people.

"The Greater of Two Evils", released November 23 through Sanctuary Records, is a trip down memory lane, featuring 14 tracks of ANTHRAX classics, re-recorded and updated with the vocal potency of longtime singer John Bush. The entire track listing was culled from an Internet voting campaign at www.anthrax.com in appreciation of their fans, and in anticipation of the band's proposed monumental 2005 Anniversary World Tour.
