METAL CHURCH: New Album Delayed Until September

August 2, 2004

SPV Records has pushed back the release date of METAL CHURCH's new album, "The Weight Of The World", to September 28, 2004 (USA) and September 29, 2004 (Europe) in order to more heavily promote the CD, according to a posting at the group's web site. "[The band's management] is very pleased with how well METAL CHURCH was received on the road, and while waiting an extra two months for the album release wasn't in the original plan, having their support and promotion behind us will help get METAL CHURCH into more venues worldwide."

METAL CHURCH's current lineup consists of guitarists Kurdt Vanderhoof and Jay Reynolds (ex-MALICE),vocalist Ronny Munroe (ex-ROTTWEILLER),drummer Kirk Arrington and bassist Steve Unger.
