MESHUGGAH Guitarist MÅRTEN HAGSTRÖM Speaks To Toazted.com: Audio Available

July 23, 2004

MESHUGGAH guitarist Mårten Hagström spoke to Holland's Toazted.com web site last month about guitars, the group's ideas for their next CD and their recently released EP, "I". Listen to the 30-minute interview at this location.

"I" was issued in the U.S. through Fractured Transmitter Records, the label formed by MUSHROOMHEAD vocalist Jason Mann. The one-song CD, which reportedly clocks in at 21-minutes, is described by the label as a "mind-bending aural assault … [that] is sure to send shock waves throughout the metal community." MESHUGGAH's next full-length effort, "Catch 33", is not expected before early next year. The group's last album, "Nothing", came out in 2002.
