MESHUGGAH, CYNIC: More North American Dates Announced

Intent on decimating the boundaries of extreme music with their metric art, Sweden's MESHUGGAH will be returning to North America in February, 2009 on a 17-show headlining tour presented by MySpace Music. Direct support to MESHUGGAH will be provided by the legendary progressive metal band CYNIC. Opening all shows will be technical progressive death metallers THE FACELESS from Los Angeles. As one of the most popular and highly trafficked music platforms in the world, MySpace Music has evolved into an offline experience by connecting bands and fans around the world through various concert series and live events.

Feb. 13 - Station 4 - St. Paul, MN
Feb. 15 - House Of Blues - Chicago, IL
Feb. 17 - Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto, ON
Feb. 18 - Club Soda - Montreal, QC

Two additional tour dates will be announced shortly.

Released this past March, MESHUGGAH's "obZen" album debuted at No. 59 on The Billboard 200 chart and at No. 14 on the iTunes Top Rock Albums chart. "obZen" has sold 54,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
