MERCYFUL FATE's HANK SHERMANN Releases Trailer For 'What Happened In 2012?' Video

January 3, 2013

MERCYFUL FATE's Hank Shermann, who has been playing guitar for Danish metal rock 'n' rollers VOLBEAT since December 2011, has released a 49-second trailer for the "What Happened In 2012?" video, featuring highlights from the past 12 months. Check it out below.

Shermann shared the stage with METALLICA in December 2011 at one of four intimate shows which took place at the Fillmore in San Francisco as part of the week-long celebration of METALLICA's 30th anniversary as a band for fan club members only.

As previously reported, Shermann's DEMONICA project — which also features FORBIDDEN/SPIRALARMS axeman Craig Locicero — has tapped drummer Paul Bostaph (SLAYER, EXODUS, TESTAMENT, FORBIDDEN) for the band's sophomore album, which is expected to be recorded sometime this year.
