Members Of BEHEMOTH, TRIVIUM And TERROR Join MACHINE HEAD On Stage In St. Paul: Video Available

August 10, 2006

Legendary San Francisco Bay Area metallers MACHINE HEAD joined the Sounds of The Underground tour for just a few shows starting with the July 29 appearance in Mountain View, California. During the band's last Sounds of the Underground show on August 5 in St. Paul, Minnesota, MACHINE HEAD were joined onstage during the song "Davidian" by members of BEHEMOTH, TRIVIUM and TERROR. Polish extreme metallers BEHEMOTH went out and did their classic simultaneous windmills and shared the mic during the song's crushing chorus.

Commented BEHEMOTH frontman Nergal: "It was absolutely awesome! Orion, Seth and me plus Matt from TRIVIUM and Doug from TERROR joined MACHINE fuckin' HEAD while they were performing 'Davidian' during their last show on Sounds of the Underground. I watched their set every day and the way these guys embrace the energy is unspeakable! Also, Robb & Co. played a new song, and fuck me, it's the best thing they've made ever: fast and fuckin' furious. It was a privilege to share the stage with one of the most incredible metal bands out there. The tour is not over yet, but I can already say that this was my absolute highlight."

A 28-second video clip of the performance can be viewed at Behemoth.pl (right-click and "Save Target As"; AVI file; 50 MB!).

Added Nergal: "We are in Vancouver now. Can't wait to hit the stage. Canada was a blast I can tell you! BEHEMOTH legions in Saskatoon and Edmonton raised hell and made the shows. Montreal show must have been one of the best EVER, too."
