MEKONG DELTA: Recording Update

November 11, 2006

MEKONG DELTA guitarist Peter Sjöberg (also known as Peter Lake from THEORY IN PRACTICE) has finished the basic guitar parts for the band's upcoming album and will now concentrate on solos and add-ons. The vocal arrangements are ready, but the legendary German progressive thrash outfit has not yet found a suitable singer and will be holding auditions starting at the end of this week.

In other news, MEKONG DELTA mainman/bassist Ralf Hubert has revealed that the band will record an adaptation of the classical piece "Allegro" from the 10th symphony by Dimitri Schostakovich for the upcoming CD.

MEKONG DELTA's current lineup is completed by drummer Uli Kusch (ex-MASTERPLAN, HELLOWEEN).

Zardoz Music last year released a two-CD, 22-song compilation, entitled "The Principle of Doubt", containing selections from various MEKONG DELTA albums.
