MEGAHERZ: Latest Album '5' To Receive U.S. Release This Month

February 9, 2006

German modern rock/industrial metal band MEGAHERZ will release their fifth album, entitled "5", in the United States through Eclipse Records on February 21.

With their new single "Gott Sein '04" the band has redefined their sound and musical vision as more dynamic, more vivid, and better than ever before. Produced by Ralph Quick (DIE HAPPY, H-BLOCKX),"5" was recorded in the Lundgaard Studios in Denmark. The outcome is "an outstanding album that satisfies even the most difficult-to-please listeners — somewhere between industrial metal, modern rock, and electronica, with pummeling grooves," according to a press release. "An album that rocks and speeds along, in the vein of RAMMSTEIN, but also one that doesn't ignore the sensitive, down-tempo ballads." A full-length MP3 of "Gott Sein '04" is available for download at this location.
