MEGADETH To Play ESP's 30th Anniversary Party

December 25, 2004

MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine has posted the following message in the "Forums" section of the band's official web site

"Over the last few weeks I have had the privilege to talk with a few friends, Jamey from HATEBREED, Scott from ANTHRAX, Gary from EXODUS, Brian from DIAMOND HEAD, and Phil from SUPERJOINT RITUAL. We all touched base on what happened with Darrell [Abbott] and other music stuff and it was good and 'interesting' to catch up with them all.

"Also, I am going to be at the NAMM show this year, debuting a new guitar for ESP, and possibly stopping by some of my other endorsers to say hello. MEGADETH will be playing the ESP 30th anniversary party at NAMM, and if you are able to get in, please come and say hello.

"I am just about unpacked from my move back to Cali, and can't wait until my music gear gets sent out so I can start playing again; preparing for the U.K./Euro Tour. I had a fantastic time saying hello and goodbye as it was to all of you over here in North America and look forward to doing the same overseas.

"There are still South American and Pacific Rim dates to be confirmed before this tour ends, so don’t give up hope if we haven’t posted your city yet. There are also some rather large festivals next summer overseas as well, so keep your fingers crossed."
