MEGADETH's MUSTAINE Wants 'Completely Classy' Tribute To DIMEBAG On GIGANTOUR DVD

December 5, 2005

MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine has posted the following message in the "Forums" section of the band's official web site:

"What an amazing and super strange last week it has been. Everything since Thanksgiving has been just a hyperspeed blur, and I hope that it was just as painless and fun for you all too.

"I almost decided to go to London last week just because I was 'just feeling like running away' from responsibility for a few days. But then I thought, 'How will I have any fun without telling friends like Brian [Tatler] from DIAMOND HEAD, and the U.K. Droogies that I was prowling?'

"That and I still need to fix my ProTools rig and I haven't decided with my manager how to handle this new 'Rep.' that I had such a sad talk with since I fired up my rig, but it didn't follow all the way through. It also seems that Lance Dean may or may not be helping me, certainly not helping me at the moment because he still lives in Arizona.

"I have had fun with the Official Megadeth Store and people keep thinking it's me and there are others doing this for me, so we all laugh at the stuff people write. And except for the rude people or stalkers it has been fun parting with all of this stuff I will never use. One thing did happen to one of the helpers getting into an accident, which led to a delay. But they are back on it. Tomorrow should be a big day or reposting a lot of things and items.

"I will be in Nashville in the middle of this month, so I hope to go to two of the Predators games. If you see me there, say hello (between stops in play) and we will catch-up.

"Next, I saw all of the live footage from the first Gigantour too and it was pretty good! We are trying to see if there was any ANTHRAX footage, since they came on later, and also if it is OK to include the 'Cemetery Gates' tribute [to Dimebag]. But I for one certainly don't want anything that isn't completely classy for Vinnie, Rita and all of the Abbott clan."
