MEGADETH's MUSTAINE, EVANESCENCE's LEE Featured In 'Rock Band Commeth' Mockumentary

To mark the launch of the much anticipated music videogame Rock Band, VH1 has created "Rock Band Commeth: The Rock Band Band Story", the ultimate "Behind the Music"-style mockumentary that chronicles the ups and downs of ROCK BAND BAND, the world’s most influential rock band (to rock plastic instruments).

Narrated by Kurt Loder, the spoof features celebrity cameos by Dave Mustaine (MEGADETH),Anthony DeCurtis, Amy Lee (EVANESCENCE),Andrew WK, Mandy Moore and Mark Goodman. The full 30-minute special will air on VH1 Classic on November 11 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Additionally, the first three acts of "Rock Band Commeth: The Rock Band Band Story" are now available at: rockband.vh1.com along with the ROCK BAND BAND's "remake" of THE RAMONES' video for "Blitzkrieg Bop" — a track included in the game.

VH1 Classic will also air five Rock Band-themed countdown shows — "Greatest Front Men", "Greatest Guitarists", "Greatest Bassists", "Greatest Drummers" and "Greatest Rock Bands". The first countdown will air on Monday, November 12 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The remaining countdowns will air each consecutive night at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
