MEGADETH's Mustaine And DIAMOND HEAD's Tatler To Record New CD!

December 26, 2001

MEGADETH leader Dave Mustaine and DIAMOND HEAD mainman Brian Tatler have been collaborating on material for a forthcoming project that they're both excited about and are due to enter the studio in the next few months to record a full-length album, according to an official statement from Tatler. Details are sketchy at the moment, but it appears that the resultant recording will be issued through Sanctuary/Metal-Is Records in late 2002. In related news, DIAMOND HEAD have finished recording a brand new acoustic EP containing new versions of four classic DH numbers for release in the coming weeks through mail order via the group's official web site. The four tracks included on the EP are as follows:

01. Run
02. Heat Of The Night
03. Lightning To The Nations
04. Ishmael

Also on the DIAMOND HEAD front, the four original members of DIAMOND HEAD have been rehearsing and writing together for the first time since 1983, an experience that Tatler describes as both constructive and great fun. A possibility of a reunion concert exists, with reports indicating that a new studio recording may be on the way as well.
