MEGADETH Guitarist Says Fans Will 'Freak' When They Find Out Who Band Is Touring With

March 21, 2005

MEGADETH/EIDOLON guitarist Glen Drover has posted the following message on EIDOLON's web site:

"Sorry it has been so long since the last update. As most of you know, Shawn and I have been busy touring and stuff with MEGADETH.

"Last week, I started my guitar tracks for the new [EIDOLON] album — yeah, I know it has been long overdue and it's starting to sound great!

"I have been working with the ProTools system in my studio (which is what the new album will be recorded on) as this is one of the latest additions to my setup and what an amazing program to use! Using this new system has brought back some of the excitement back into recording that I really needed!

"As far as what we are all up to, Adrian [Robichaud] is at home working on his bass parts (ahead of schedule) so that when we start bass, it will take less time, as I really do not have a whole lot of time these days to do all the things I need/want to do. Nils [K. Rue, vocals] is involved in a play he is doing in Norway ('Faust' - Metal Opera) and will be tied up until mid-April doing that, which works fine for the band, as I will not have all the tracks ready to be sent until around late May/early June. Nils will work on his lyrics, melodies and recording for those summer months summer, while Shawn and I are doing the summer MEGADETH touring in Europe (June festivals) and in the U.S. for a festival tour in July/August.

"I can't wait for you all to find out who we are touring with, you are all going to freak!!!! Aside from that, not much else is going on in the EIDOLON camp. The new album should be completed and released through our new label (Escapi) in late 2005/early 2006."
