MEGADETH Drummer: 'All In All, This Really Has Been A Fun Tour Leg'

November 16, 2007

MEGADETH drummer Shawn Drover has issued the following update:

"I gotta tell ya, this entire Oz Gigantour has been a blast for me. At this juncture of the game, all the bands have pretty much exchanged a warm hello, etc. to which all of them seem to be having a good time out here with us — at least, I certainly hope that they are

"For a few shows now, most band members have jumped onstage with us to sing the end of 'Peace Sells' (now a Gigantour staple) hell, even the dude's from RATT jumped onstage to sing with us the other night — that was very cool of them, I must say. On top of that, Cristina Scabbia from LACUNA COIL (as most of you know by now) has been sharing the stage nightly with us to sing 'A Toute Le Monde', to which she has really been kicking ass. All in all, this really has been a fun tour leg.

"Three days left and two shows remain before we head back home to decompress, watch NFL football, and be 'normal' for a while.

"As much as I am looking forward to being home with my wife, kids and animals, it has been so great to see all of the happy faces in attendance at these shows. I sincerely do hope that you have enjoyed these shows as much as we have!!!!!"

Fan-filmed video footage of MEGADETH performing the song "A Tout Le Monde" in Sydney, Australia on November 15, 2007 with a special guest appearance by Cristina Scabbia of LACUNA COIL is available for viewing below.
