MEGADETH Bassist Interviewed At U.K.'s DOWNLOAD Festival

June 12, 2010

MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson stopped by the Kerrang! Download podcast earlier today (Saturday, June 12) at this year's Download festival, which is being held June 11-13, 2010 at Donington Park, United Kingdom. Watch the chat below.

A new MEGADETH track called "Sudden Death" will serve as the finger-busting finale to the forthcoming Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock game. The band's mainman, guitarist/vocalist Dave Mustaine, tells RollingStone.com the track is brutal, and "I'm sure some fans will think it's the greatest thing we've ever done. But other people will say it sucks. That's just the way of the world."

"The Right To Go Insane", the new video from MEGADETH, was shot in South El Monte, California and directed by Bill Fishman, who also helmed MEGADETH's last video, "Head Crusher", the Grammy-nominated first single from the band's new CD, "Endgame".

As previously reported, the March 31 MEGADETH concert at the Palladium in Hollywood, California was filmed for a forthcoming DVD.
