MECHA MESSIAH Guitarist Back In The Fold

April 19, 2008

MECHA MESSIAH, the Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada-based project featuring former INFERNAL MAJESTY and current TYRANTS BLOOD vocalist Brian Langley, has issued the following update:

"We are happy to announce that Mike Fezza has rejoined the band to fill the vacant guitar spot. Mike was previously in MM from 2000 till early 2003.

"We would also like to announce the show that has been three years in the making... MECHA MESSIAH's first show back featuring the new line-up and new songs [scheduled to take place June 13 at Delta Lion Pub in Delta, British Columbia, Canada].

"If you live in the Vancouver, B.C. area, be sure not to miss it!!!

MECHA MESSIAH formed in early 2000. From the start Brian Langley has been the band's driving force. 2000-2006 the group played numerous shows in the Vancouver area, with the highlight being a one-off show in Germany in 2002. The band also recorded two full-length albums and made two compilation CD appearances, all of which were self-produced.

In October 2005, unhappy with the direction the band was heading, Brian disbanded MECHA MESSIAH to focus his efforts on INFERNAL MAJESTY. During the time off, Brian worked on writing new MECHA MESSIAH songs. He also enlisted Ryan Mackie (ex-OMEGACROM, CRADLE TO GRAVE) on drums and Darin Wall (ENTROPIA) on bass. In September 2007, Brian recorded the new MECHA MESSIAH demo, "The Sacrifice", at Dead by Dawn Studio.
