MAYHEM Announce Finnish Dates

Norwegian black metallers MAYHEM have added three Finnish dates to their upcoming European tour. As previously reported, the trek (which will reportedly include Poland's DECAPITATED and Japan's DEFILED) will officially commence on April 10, beginning with an appearance at the Inferno Festival in Oslo, according to a posting on the band's web site. The European leg of the tour will conclude May 17.

Apr. 13 – Helsinki, FIN @ Tavastia

MAYHEM's new album, "Chimera", is scheduled for release on March 29 in Europe and April 6 in the U.S. through Season Of Mist Records. The CD, which was recorded at a mobile studio in the mountains of Norway, reportedly features a musical direction that is being described by the band as "much more back to basics and much more brutal" than 2000's "Grand Declaration of War".
