MAX CAVALERA To Collaborate With GOGOL BORDELLO's EUGENE HÜTZ

October 9, 2008

Eugene Hütz, the Ukrainian-born singer, lyricist and visionary of the critically-acclaimed New York Gypsy punk rock band GOGOL BORDELLO, has told Brazil's O Globo magazine that his first-ever collaboration with a Brazilian musician will be with former SEPULTURA and current SOULFLY frontman Max Cavalera.

After praising Brazil and its cultural scene in the interview, Hütz went on to say that many musicians from Brazil have sought his collaboration, even for a simple live guest appearence, but "doing something as friends is easy, organizing something is much more difficult — and in any case, everyone is my friend!" He then went on to say that the Max collaboration has already been discussed and is basically a done deal at this point. No further details about their joint work was disclosed, but a photo of Hütz and Cavalera can be found at this location.
