MAX CAVALERA: 'I Don't Feel Like Doing A SEPULTURA Reunion'

May 26, 2005

In a recent interview with "Metal Injection", SOULFLY mainman Max Cavalera was asked questions submitted by fans. The most asked question was: Do you ever see yourself reuniting with SEPULTURA?

"To tell you the truth, I like the fact that everything that was done with SEPULTURA through 'Roots', it was all a challenge and we really accomplished something that can easily be destroyed by these reunion tours," he responded. "Why destroy something just for a reunion tour, something that took 15, 20 years to build? I'd just like to leave it that for the fans. It's there, it's classic. I'm sorry if you didn't watch it if you were too young but I don't feel like doing a reunion and ruining the magic."

You can watch the full interview on this week's edition of "Metal Injection" at this location. The episode also features a live version of "Roots Bloody Roots", taken from SOULFLY's recently released "The Song Remains Insane" DVD.
