MAX CAVALERA And Family Interviewed On METAL RULES! TV (Video)

March 20, 2013

Metal Rules! TV recently conducted an interview with Max Cavalera (SOULFLY, CAVALERA CONSPIRACY, SEPULTURA),along with his sons Zyon and Igor (both of whom play in LODY KONG) and stepson Richie (INCITE). Check out the chat in two parts below.

Max's 21-year-old son, Zyon Cavalera, has joined SOULFLY as its touring drummer for the band's current rampage through North America.

Zyon previously played with SOULFLY during the band's tour of Brazil in February 2012.

It is Zyon's unborn heartbeat that can be heard during the intro of SEPULTURA's classic song "Refuse/Resist", which appeared on the band's RIAA-gold-certified "Chaos A.D." album, released three years before Max's departure from the group.

Drummer David Kinkade (BORKNAGAR, ARSIS, MALEVOLENT CREATION),who played on SOULFLY's latest album, "Enslaved", left the band last October in order to focus on his personal life.
