MASTODON To Tour With FEAR FACTORY, SWORN ENEMY

Relapse Records recording artists MASTODON have announced their first tour of 2004 in support of their highly anticipated new album, "Leviathan". MASTODON will team up with FEAR FACTORY for a month-long trek beginning July 26 in Towson, MD. The tour is scheduled to conclude August 22 in Las Vegas, NV with additional dates pending.

MASTODON will preview numerous songs from "Leviathan" on the upcoming U.S. tour. The follow up to the band's heralded "Remission" album, "Leviathan" was recorded at both Robert Lang Studios (NIRVANA, FOO FIGHTERS) and Litho Studios (DEFTONES, SOUNDGARDEN) in Seattle with producer Matt Bayles. Based in part on Herman Melville's classic novel "Moby Dick", MASTODON's "Leviathan" is slated for an August 31 U.S. release date and a September 13 European release date via Relapse.
