MASTODON's 'Leviathan' Named Revolver Magazine's 'Album Of The Year'
MASTODON's latest release, "Leviathan", has been named Revolver magazine's 2004 "Album of the Year". The year-end Revolver list was determined via a poll of the magazine's editors and contributing writers.
"Leviathan" was released on August 31, 2004 to exceptional fan and critical acclaim. The follow up to the band's heralded "Remission" album, "Leviathan" entered the Billboard Top 200 chart at No. 139 and continues to see both strong sales and media praise. The band is currently on the road alongside SLAYER and KILLSWITCH ENGAGE as part of the 2004 Jagermeister Music Tour. The full list of Revolver's 2004 "Albums of the Year" can be found in the magazine's February 2005 issue — on stands December 7.
