MASTODON's BRENT HINDS Vs. KING KHAN

Pitchfork reports that MASTODON's Brent Hinds allegedly got himself into another altercation Thursday night (September 18),this time with Arish "King" Khan, the Indian guitar guru who cut his teeth playing guitar in the sloppy Canadian punk band the SPACESHITS and who currently fronts his own band called KING KHAN & THE SHRINES. According to the site, the fight occurred after Khan's appearance in Atlanta at the Highland Inn Lounge's weekly Kirkwood Ballers Club open mic. Read all the details from Pitchfork.

Hinds was reportedly jumped following MASTODON's performance at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards. Police claim Hinds was attacked outside the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on September 10, 2007 during an encounter with SYSTEM OF A DOWN bassist Shavo Odadjian and his friend William Hudson. According to police, Hudson assaulted Hinds, and Odadjian witnessed the incident.
