December 24, 2004

MASTERS OF REALITY mainman/producer Chris Goss has fallen ill and is in critical condition in Palm Desert, CA, according to a posting on the QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE web site. Gifts and well wishes would be much appreciated. Send to:

Eisenhower Memorial Hospital
39000 Bob Hope Dr.
Rancho Mirage, CA 92270

In related news, Jeordie White (a.k.a. Twiggy Ramirez) fan site BaseTendencies.com is reporting that Goss and Jeordie (and possibly THE CULT's Ian Astbury) recently spent time in the studio working on tracks with UNKLE for an upcoming project. UNKLE, a band out of the U.K. which can best be described as a hybrid of trip-hop/electronica and rock, have two albums to their name, 2004's "Never Never Land" and 1998's "Psyence Fiction", which boast appearances from guest artists such as Josh Homme, DJ Shadow, Thom Yorke and Jason Newsted.
