MASTERPLAN To Enter Studio In September

April 2, 2006

MASTERPLAN, the German/Norwegian band featuring ex-HELLOWEEN guitarist Roland Grapow, ex-HELLOWEEN drummer Uli Kusch and former YNGWIE MALMSTEEN/ARK singer Jorn Lande, will enter the studio in September to begin recording their third album, tentatively due in March 2007 via AFM Records. The recordings are expected to last through October and will once again be overseen by acclaimed British producer Andy Sneap (MACHINE HEAD, NEVERMORE, ARCH ENEMY, EXODUS).

MASTERPLAN's sophomore full-length album, "Aeronautics", came out in January 2005 via AFM. Lande last month entered the Norwegian national album at position No. 54 with his fourth solo album, "The Duke" (AFM). The CD was produced by Lande and PAGAN'S MIND guitarist Jörn Viggo Lofstad, and was mixed at Jailhouse Studios in Denmark by Tommy Hansen.
