Commented bassist and founding member Mikael Medin: "After our headlining tour of the U.K. in January, we decided that we wanted to get back to the U.K. as soon as possible. There were so many awesome people who came out to see us — both new and old fans — as well as friends and drinking buddies! We are now confirmed to come back to the U.K., this time with DEATHSTARS on the 'Electric Night Tour'. It should be a great tour, especially since we will have already played with the DEATHSTARS on the Scandinavian dates of their co-headlining tour with SONIC SYNDICATE. We will be premiering new material from our next album in the U.K. also, so be sure to come out and have a good time with us!"

MARIONETTE's debut album, "Spite", was released in Europe on April 28, 2008 via Listenable Records and in North America in September via Koch/Listenable. The CD was recorded with producers Simon Exner and two-time Swedish Grammis award winner Åke Parmerud in Borås, Sweden. "Spite" was mixed and mastered by Christian Silver at Studio Mega (SONIC SYNDICATE, BY NIGHT) in Varberg, Sweden.
