MARIONETTE: New Album Being Mastered

February 28, 2011

Gothenburg, Sweden-based metal sextet MARIONETTE is currently mastering its as-yet-untitled third full-length album at Masters of Audio Studio in Stockholm with Erik Broheden (RAMMSTEIN, TURBONEGRO, WITHIN TEMPTATION). Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Something Forgotten", "Remember Your Name", "Stand In Line" and "Lights Out".

Commented guitarist and backing vocalist Aron Parmerud: "Our third album is currently being mastered at Masters of Audio. These guys really know what they are doing, having worked with acts like RAMMSTEIN, TURBONEGRO, WITHIN TEMPTATION, and THE HELLACOPTERS, among many others.

"We're currently adding the final touches and making some final tweaks, but the light at the end of the tunnel is drawing very near! We worked really hard on all the compositions and we feel this is by far the most unique, dynamic, and mature record we've made."

MARIONETTE recently played a number of European dates with the MURDERDOLLS — the band consisting of Joey Jordison (SLIPKNOT, ROB ZOMBIE) and Wednesday 13 — on the "Women and Children Last Tour".

MARIONETTE's tour diary from the "Women and Children Last Tour" can be viewed below.
