MARDUK Set Release Date For DVD

Swedish black metallers MARDUK have set a January 19, 2004 release date for their much-anticipated DVD, titled "Funeral Marches And Warsongs". The long-delayed disc will tentatively include, among other features, a live show recorded in Paris on the European leg of the World Funeral tour as well as footage of the band's reunion with former vocalist Joakim Göthberg during their appearance at the Party.San Open Air festival in Germany in August.

In other news, MARDUK were forced to cancel the last two shows on their recent Mexican tour after vocalist Legion was taken ill. Check out pictures from the tour here. Also on the MARDUK-related front, , DEVILS WHOREHOUSE, the side project of MARDUK guitarist Morgan HĂ„kansson and bassist B. War, will issue their full-length debut, "Revelation Unorthodox", on January 12, 2004 through Blooddawn Productions. "Revelation Unorthodox", which will be available on CD as well as limited edition LP and picture-disc LP, is the follow-up to the mini-album "Howling", which was released in 2000. A limited-edition digipack reissue of the EP, featuring several bonus tracks, is slated for release on January 19.
