MARDUK Replace DARK FUNERAL At METALBÅTEN Ferry Festival

Swedish black metallers MARDUK have replaced DARK FUNERAL on the billing of the first edition of the Metalbåten festival, set to take place March 23-24 on the Silja Festival ferry (which traffics the Baltic Sea between Stockholm, Sweden and Turku, Finland). Other bands confirmed to appear at the festival include RAGE, FREEDOM CALL, DISMEMBER and HELLFUELED. The sixth and last band will be announced late January. "Imagine 1,800 metalheads, six performing bands, a metal market, four performing tattoo artists, four metal bars, metal music in all public areas including bathrooms, toilets, pool area and elevators," reads a press release. "This event can only be described as the ultimate metal party! With two and a half month to go, 50% of the available 1,800 tickets are sold!"
