MANOWAR: Why $117 For Ticket To Next Year's MAGIC CIRCLE FESTIVAL Is A 'Bargain'

November 16, 2007

MANOWAR director Neil Johnson — who is responsible for overseeing all of the band's DVDs and music videos — has posted a video message explaining why paying $117 (80 euros) to attend the group's Magic Circle Festival in Germany next July should be considered a bargain. Watch the clip below.

Magic Circle Festival 2008 will be held in Bad Arolsen, Germany from Wednesday, July 9 to Saturday, July 12. Next year's festival will feature four days of metal, 20,000 free beers, 20,000 free copies of the new MANOWAR single and four custom-built choppers owned by MANOWAR members to be given away.

MANOWAR is scheduled to perform on the Friday evening of the festival, where they will play "Battle Hymns", "Into Glory Ride" and "Hail To England". On the Saturday evening, the band will play "Sign Of The Hammer", "Fighting The World" and "Kings Of Metal". This set will also feature, for the first time, a rendition of "The Crown And The Ring (Lament Of The Kings)", which will feature the original choir and orchestral performance that has never been seen before.

Magic Circle Festival 2007 took place July 6-7, 2007 Bad Arolsen, Germany and was reportedly attended by 25,000 fans. In addition to different sets by MANOWAR on each day, this year's event featured performances by GAMMA RAY, MAJESTY, HOLYHELL, MOB RULES, STORMWARRIOR, MESSIAH'S KISS, DAVID SHANKLE GROUP, LION'S SHARE, HEAVENLY, IMPERIA and SAIDIAN.
