MANOWAR To Sign With SANCTUARY RECORDS?

November 14, 2004

Will MANOWAR sign a new record deal with Sanctuary Records following their recent split with the Nuclear Blast label? According to legendary '80s A&R executive John Kalodner, who signed the group to Geffen and who is currently employed at Sanctuary, there is more than just a remote possibility that the two parties will work together in the near future. Asked in the "Ask JDK A ?" section of his web site if he is still in contact with MANOWAR and whether a possibility exists that Sanctuary may sign the band, Kalodner responded, "Joey DeMaio [MANOWAR bassist] is a great friend of mine and it's possible I may sign them to Sanctuary. We'll have to see but I think it would be a good signing for Sanctuary."
