MANOWAR are the first confirmed band for this year's edition of the Rock the Nations open-air festival, set to take place August 6 at Seven Towers of Istanbul in Turkey.
About seven bands will be sharing the stage with MANOWAR. Other confirmed acts will be announced soon.
Rock the Nations' first installment (2003) featured performances by such bands as DIO, KREATOR, OPETH and ROTTING CHRIST. Last year, the festival hosted such groups as SENTENCED, U.D.O., PAIN OF SALVATION, AMON AMARTH and PAUL DI'ANNO.
