MAIDEN UNITED: Performance Footage, Video Interview Available

Video footage of Former THE GATHERING singer Anneke van Giersbergen performing with MAIDEN UNITED the IRON MAIDEN tribute project which plays classic MAIDEN songs in new acoustic arrangements on August 2, 2011 at Little Devil in Tilburg, Netherlands can be seen below. Also available is a video interview with MAIDEN UNITED conducted by Blitzkrieg.cl on August 4 at the Wacken Open Air festival in Wacken, Germany.

MAIDEN UNITED released "Mind The Acoustic Pieces" on December 9, 2010. The set is described as "an acoustic version of [IRON MAIDEN's classic album] 'Piece Of Mind' with new arrangements and played a selection of accomplished musicians." A limited vinyl edition of the effort will be made available in April.
