MAGION: Debut Album Out Now

Dutch symphonic metal act MAGION has just released its long-awaited debut album, "Close to Eternity". The CD was recorded in 2008 at Excess Studios (AFTER FOREVER, GOREFEST, AYREON, EPICA) in Rotterdam and was mastered by Dan Swanö.

Formed in 2005 by drummer David de Waal and guitarist Chris Vrij, MAGION is scheduled to open for EPICA on March 19 in The Netherlands. They will also be featured on an upcoming Femme Metal compilation CD, which will include EPICA as well. All profits from sales of the compilation will go to benefit Macmillan Cancer Support & Research in the U.K.
