MADBALL: January Tour Dates With COMEBACK KID, CRUEL HAND Announced

New York hardcore legends MADBALL have announced a brand new January tour with COMEBACK KID and CRUEL HAND. The trek begins on January 11 in Birmingham, Alabama and will take the band through the western region of the U.S. through January 23 in San Francisco, California. MADBALL is scheduled to film a video for the song "All Or Nothing" on Friday, November 26 at Southpaw (125 5th Avenue in Brooklyn, NY) at 5 p.m. ET. The band will perform a brief warm-up set before the video, and they want their fans to be there! This event is all ages, so come and pack the house for the video shoot.

In addition to their new January tour dates, MADBALL will be heading out on an East Coast headlining run beginning December 9, 2010 in Miami, Florida. The band will be supported by BITTER END, LIONHEART and INCENDIARY.

MADBALL released its latest album, "Empire", in a special red vinyl format on November 22.

"Empire" is available for purchase on disc and pre-order on vinyl now through the Good Fight Musicwebstore, and a new limited-edition Reaper Records seven-inch single supporting "Empire" (only 2,000 copies being made) is available now.

"Empire" sold around 1,500 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 15 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

"Empire" was released on October 12 via Good Fight Music. The CD was recorded at Mana Recording Studios in St. Petersburg, Florida with producer Erik Rutan, who has previously worked with MISERY INDEX, CANNIBAL CORPSE and GOATWHORE, among many others.
