MACHINE HEAD Tour Update: Atlanta, Tampa, Sacramento

May 17, 2005

The following update has been posted at MACHINE HEAD's official web site:

"The Atlanta show, previously reported to the band and subsequently on this site as moved, has now been moved back to its original date of May 22nd by the promoter. Apparently, when the promoter said 'Atlanta', they meant to say 'Tampa', so as such, the Tampa date will be moved up to May 23rd to accomodate their original scheduling conflict.

"In related tour news, the venue for the Sacramento show (Colonial Theater) has been purchased and will now become a Middle Eastern dance club. The new ownership have decided that they will not be honoring any previously scheduled events, and as such, MACHINE HEAD are currently exploring alternatives. Stay tuned for updates regarding this show."

MACHINE HEAD are touring in support of their current release, "Through the Ashes of Empires", as well as their upcoming live DVD, "Elegies", tentatively due in August. Also appearing on the bill are DEVILDRIVER and IT DIES TODAY.
