MÖTLEY CRÜE Singer Shows Off His Tequila; Video Available

June 28, 2007

MÖTLEY CRÜE singer Vince Neil was at Gary's Liquors in West Roxbury, Massachusetts earlier this month to promote his three types of tequila called Vince Neil's Tres Rios. Watch a Boston.TV report on the event at this location.

In an interview with the West Roxbury & Roslindale Transcript, Neil said of the three types of tequila — silver, reposado and anejo — "It's just good stuff … it's made down outside of Guadalajara [Mexico]." All three types are aged for different durations and different ways.

"I like tequila … there's no worms in these. It's a fun thing. It's little bit more rock 'n' roll," said the MÖTLEY CRÜE singer.

Back in 1984, after a tour with OZZY OSBOURNE, Neil was in a drunken-driving accident in California that killed HANOI ROCKS drummer Nicholas "Razzle" Dingley, who was a passenger in Neil's car. When asked about the accident, Neil pulled no punches.

"I don't endorse drinking and driving. I endorse driving responsibly. I made a tragic mistake that cost one of my dear friends his life," said Neil.

Neil added that he likes drinking, but as long as he does it responsibly.
