MÖTLEY CRÜE Presented With 'Red, White & Crüe' Platinum Award: Photos Available

March 28, 2005

Before their performance at The Forum in Inglewood, California on Wednesday (March 23),MÖTLEY CRÜE were presented with a platinum record for their two-disc "greatest hits" collection, "Red, White & Crüe". Check out pictures from Wire Image. [NOTE: Since "Red, White & Crüe" is a two-CD set, it only has to ship half a million copies in order to qualify for the platinum award]

"Red, White & Crüe" contains the original CRÜE's first studio recordings since 1998's "Greatest Hits". The group's last full-length collection of new material, "Generation Swine", was released in 1997. A full-length studio album, "New Tattoo", was issued in 2000 without the contributions of drummer Tommy Lee, who had left the group to launch a solo career. That set featured the talents of former OZZY OSBOURNE drummer Randy Castillo.
