MÖTLEY CRÜE 1981 'Paperback Writer' Performance Unearthed

Never-before-seen footage from MÖTLEY CRÜE's second concert (see below) has been unearthed to promote the hard rock/heavy metal-themed auctions of eBay seller EliteWorks.

On April 25, 1981 MÖTLEY CRÜE was opening for Y&T at The Starwood, and their manager at the time (Allan Coffman) hired Bell Piper to videotape the performance which featured the CRÜE's unrecorded cover of THE BEATLES 1966 classic "Paperback Writer". The song was dropped quickly thereafter and replaced with "Jailhouse Rock".

Dozens of MÖTLEY CRÜE collectables are featured are featured among the 84 auctions, including a newly added, promotional-only Umatic videotape master of the band's first two music videos ("Take Me To The Top" and "Public Enemy#1").

Vintage memorabilia from KISS, BON JOVI, ALICE COOPER, VAN HALEN, SCORPIONS, DIO, THE CULT, GUNS N' ROSES, TESLA, QUIET RIOT, RATT, W.A.S.P., MR. BIG, FASTER PUSSYCAT, KING DIAMOND and even lesser known cult acts such as WARLOCK, FATES WARNING, PRETTY BOY FLOYD, DIRTY LOOKS, TORA TORA, SACRED REICH and OLIVER MAGNUM are also featured among this week's 84 auctions which may be viewed at this location.
