LYNAM: New Album Title Announced

September 4, 2007

Birmingham, Alabama-based hard rockers LYNAM have set "Tragic City Symphony" as the title of their new album. "We've been working again with producer Jason Elgin (MAYLENE AND THE SONS OF DISASTER, COLLECTIVE SOUL),who we consider the fourth member of LYNAM," guitarist/vocalist Jacob Bunton says. "He always brings out the best in us and on this new record he has pushed us to new levels. The songs are straight-ahead, melt-your-face rock songs in true LYNAM style. We have some really cool special guests on the new record, including HINDER and Tom Keifer (CINDERELLA). Along with Jason Elgin, we also got to work with Mike Shipley (GREEN DAY, DEF LEPPARD) and Beau Hill (RATT, STEVIE NICKS) on mixing."

Led by frontman and principal songwriter Jacob Bunton, LYNAM is heavily influenced by DEF LEPPARD and has drawn comparisons to WOLFMOTHER. Since 2002, the band has self-released three albums; a fourth, 2006's "Slave to the Machine", was released after the band signed to DRT Entertainment. This album peaked at #21 on Billboard's Top Independent Albums chart and #19 on the Heatseekers chart. They have opened tour dates for bands such as SALIVA, LIVE, FUEL, and PUDDLE OF MUDD.

LYNAM has joined the musical lineup of Vince Neil's Motley Cruise. Vince himself will perform, as will the reunited RATT, SKID ROW and SLAUGHTER.

Departing from Miami on January 24, 2008, Vince Neil's Motley Cruise will set sail for the Mayan Riviera, stopping by Key West, before making its way to Calica, Mexico! An array of exclusive events, including meet-and-greets with the artists, wet and wild shore excursions in Key West and Cozumel, and the no-limit Texas Hold 'Em charity poker tournament (with big cash prizes) and a one-of-a-kind live charity auction benefitting Vince's Skylar Neil Memorial Foundation, will also be held. All of this takes place on board a world-class Carnival cruise with fine dining and 24-hour room service, full-service casino, beautiful swimming pools, spa, gym and other great amenities.
