LOUD & PROUD RECORDS Joins RED Distribution

February 14, 2013

Veteran artist label Loud & Proud Records has entered into an exclusive multi-year distribution, marketing and label services agreement for the U.S. and Canada with New York-based RED Distribution, a division of Sony Music Entertainment.

Under the terms of the agreement, RED will provide physical, digital and mobile distribution plus direct-to-consumer sales of all new Loud & Proud releases. RED will also provide a broad range of marketing, promotion, publicity and advertising resources via its full service marketing agency 'stache media.

"One of the main attractions of moving to RED was the opportunity to work with President Bob Morelli again," stated Loud & Proud Owner/President Tom Lipsky. "We enjoyed success together when I ran CMC International Records and Sanctuary Records. He has a genuine passion for artists and a progressive approach to sales and marketing. I am pleased we have the opportunity to work together again and I look forward to a successful partnership."

Adds Bob Morelli, "Tom and I have been colleagues for many years, and I've always been impressed with his musical sensibility, his artist friendly approach and his ability to partner with great veteran artists and market them in a very contemporary manner."

During his label career, Lipsky has been involved with a broad spectrum of artists including ROBERT PLANT, RUSH, LENNY KRAVITZ, EARTH WIND & FIRE, LYNYRD SKYNYRD, MORRISSEY, IRON MAIDEN and THE ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND. The vision going forward with Loud & Proud is to develop opportunities by artist, regardless of genre, which fits well with RED's broad spectrum of expertise. Loud & Proud aims to bring a new business model to the artist community, offering transparent partnerships that provide artists with a true vested interest in the commercial gains of their work.
