LOCKUP, the grindcore band featuring NAPALM DEATH bassist Shane Embury, NAPALM DEATH guitarist Jesse Pintado, former AT THE GATES/THE CROWN frontman Tomas Lindberg, and ex-DIMMU BORGIR drummer Nick Barker, have finished mixing their live album for a late 2004 release through Toys Factory Records in Japan and Shane's label, Feto Records, in Europe. The as-yet-untitled CD was recorded during the group's Japanese tour in June 2002. It is not presently clear if LOCKUP will go ahead with their previously announced plans of recording a limited-edition EP featuring cover versions of songs by POSSESSED and DARK ANGEL, among others.
