LOCK UP: New Tour Dates Announced

January 7, 2010

Grindcore supergroup LOCK UP has scheduled the following dates:

Apr. 23 - Init Club - Rome, Italy
Apr. 24 - Rock Planet - Pinarella di Cervia, Italy
May 01 - Neurotic Deathfest - Tilburg, The Netherlands

LOCK UP headlined the Terrorizer Stage at the U.K.'s Damnation Festival on October 24, 2009 at Leeds University Union.

The almost mythical extreme metal behemoth — AT THE GATES frontman Tomas Lindberg, Anton Reisenegger of PENTAGRAM and CRIMINAL on guitar, NAPALM DEATH bassist Shane Embury and ex-DIMMU BORGIR and TESTAMENT drummer Nick Barker — played in the U.K. for the first time in almost ten years.

Fan-filmed video footage of the band's performance can be viewed below (clip uploaded by Dave Ingham a.k.a. YouTube user "triptykon").

Reisenegger replaced the late Pintado, who sadly passed away in August 2006.
