LIZZY BORDEN Tribute To Finally See Light Of Day

January 10, 2008

Metallicarchangel Records will finally release "Baptized in Blood" — a "true metal" tribute to LIZZY BORDEN. After dealing with a lot of "unreliable bands," the tribute will add its last song — the BORDEN classic "Red Rum" covered by Norway's TOMORROW'S OUTLOOK. What is special about this track is that the vocals will reportedly be done by ex-RAINBOW/MSG legend Graham Bonnet.

"Baptized in Blood" projected track listing is as follows;

01. DEADLY BLESSING – "Notorious"
02. CYPHER SEER - "Hell Is For Heroes"
03. STRONGHOLD - "Visions"
04. FAITH FACTOR - "American Metal"
05. OCTOBER 31 - "Give 'Em The Axe"
06. SOLEMNITY - "There Will Be Blood Tonight"
07. SILENCE - "Ultraviolence"
08. TOMMOROW'S OUTLOOK - "Red Rum"
09. LIGEIA - "Eyes Of A Stranger"
10. HOUNDS OF HELL - "Me Against The World"

After the release of the LIZZY BORDEN tribute, Metallicarchangel Records will put out a "true metal" tribute to CRIMSON GLORY entitled "The Revenge Of Azrael".

Fan-filmed video footage of South Jersey power metal gods DEADLY BLESSING performing a cover of LIZZY BORDEN's "Notorious" live at the Boricua Metal Fest III in Cayey, Puerto Rico on November 11, 2006 can be viewed below.
