LIV KRISTINE To Release New Solo Album In March

December 9, 2005

Norwegian singer Liv Kristine (LEAVES' EYES, ex-THEATRE OF TRAGEDY) will release her new solo album, "Enter My Religion", on March 6, 2006 via Roadrunner Records. A digipack EP, entitled "Fake a Smile", will precede the full-length CD on January 27, containing the title cut plus four non-album tracks ("This Is Us", "Woman In Me", "China Heart" and "Fake a Smile (Remix)") plus the "Fake a Smile" video. Several photos from the "Fake a Smile" video shoot (which took place on Nov. 19) have been posted online at this location. The clip [was] produced by AVA Studios (also worked for SARAH CONNOR, JEANNETTE),directed by Alexander Diezinger.

As previously reported, Kristine recently recorded a duet with NIGHTWISH bassist/vocalist Marco Hietala for one of the tracks on the upcoming album from DELAIN, the new project of WITHIN TEMPTATION keyboardist Martijn Westerhold. Liv appears on two songs on the DELAIN CD, which will be released in 2006 via Roadrunner Records. Kristine's recordings were laid down at Mastersound Studio with producer (and Liv's husband) Alexander Krull.
