November 12, 2007

According to The Orange County Register, modern-rock mainstay LINKIN PARK, Tom DeLonge's ANGELS & AIRWAVES, veteran punk act BAD RELIGION and Huntington Beach's AVENGED SEVENFOLD are among the acts who will take part in the first night of KROQ's annual Almost Acoustic Christmas shows at Gibson Amphitheatre.

The concerts, often the most coveted events of the season, are set for December 8-9. PARAMORE, RISE AGAINST! and SYSTEM OF A DOWN vocalist Serj Tankian will round out the Saturday portion.

KROQ is issuing details in dribs and drabs this year, as both the Night 2 lineup and on-sale information are still being withheld.
