LINEA 77 Complete Work On 'Evoluzione' Video

August 5, 2005

Italian antagonists LINEA 77 braved sweltering conditions last weekend as they completed work on the video for lead track "Evoluzione", taken from their forthcoming album, "Available for Propaganda". The band spent over 12 hours tearing through the track time and time again in the midst of what can only be described as a breathtaking industrial landscape, performing in a canyon amongst literally miles of scrap metal reflecting the scorching Adriatic heat back at them. Directorial duties were in the safe hands of fast rising director Paolo Doppieri, looking to repeat the success he recently scored with ADEMA's clip, "Tornado".

After touring extensively in support of their 2003 release, "Numb", the band spent time in the U.S. at Paramount/Ameraycan Studios in Los Angeles (famous for hosting LED ZEPPELIN, JIMI HENDRIX, CYPRESS HILL and TOOL, to name just a few) working with producer Dave Dominguez (ADEMA, ORGY, PAPA ROACH, POWERMAN 5000, STAIND). Mastering was done by Dave Collins, who has overseen the sound for records by ALICE COOPER, BLACK SABBATH, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE and SOUNDGARDEN, among others.

"Available for Propaganda" will be released on Earache on September 26 (September 23 in Italy, where it will be available for a limited period only in a deluxe slipcase with a free poster).
