LILLIAN AXE Announce New Album Title

LILLIAN AXE have set "Waters Rising" as the title of their new album. "The band is working on putting the final touches on the new CD," reads a posting on the group's web site. "No release date has been set just yet, but soon."

In other news, in addition to being in LILLIAN AXE, bassist Darrin DeLatte has formed a new band, LOWSIDE, in the Dallas area. The group also features Ron Taylor on vocals and will perform new, original material. As with his cover band THE DAZE, Darrin has taken the reins as guitarist. Check out their web site for MP3s and more information.

Also on the LILLIAN AXE-related front, new singer Derrick LeFevre contributed to a new BON JOVI tribute CD, "Always", available on Versailles Records. He performs lead vocals on "Living on a Prayer", while Richard Kendrick (NLE guitarist) handles the backing music and vocals. The CD also features current/former members of MÖTLEY CRÜE, WARRANT, RATT, SCORPIONS, LOVE/HATE, L.A. GUNS, BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION, THE SCREAM, and Versailles artists JASY ANDREWS, ONE BAD SON, COREY CRAVEN, and JOHN SPINNER, as well as COLI BRICE, TONY JANFLONE JR., THE ISSUES, and DRAMA QUEEN DIE. The CD is due in stores July 19, 2005.

Those living in or visiting New Orleans, be sure to check out Derrick performing with cover band MPH every Thursday-Sunday, 9 pm - 2 am, in the French Quarter at the Red Rhino.
