LIFE OF AGONY Frontman KEITH CAPUTO: New Solo Track Available For Download

LIFE OF AGONY frontman Keith Caputo is back in the studio working with a group of super-talented musicians on his new solo record in the Netherlands. One of the new songs is titled "Livin' the Blues" and marks his first solo, studio recording with this lineup. Download the track at this location (MP3, 10 MB).

Commented Keith: "Music is the highest art form. The power of music is singing and writing songs from somewhere deep inside that nothing in society could seem to touch... I sit in the studio and lay down the truth. Listen is all I ask. Please share with just about everyone in your life. Much obliged."

In other news, Caputo has posted a preview of the video for his track "Charade", taken from his "Perfect Little Monsters" solo release. Check it out by clicking here (Quicktime required). The full-length video will be available on Keith's upcoming release as a bonus.

Keith Caputo's latest solo effort, "Live Monsters", was mastered by legendary mastering engineer George Marino at Sterling Sound in New York City and features live recordings from Caputo's tour in support of the aforementioned "Perfect Little Monsters" CD.

Caputo appeared live on stage at the Nokia Theatre in New York City in December 2005 with members of STONE SOUR and SLIPKNOT performing at the Roadrunner United show. Keith also appeared on the Fuse music channel on Friday, October 14, 2005 performing "Tired & Lonely" with SLIPKNOT's Joey Jordison and other Roadrunner "all-stars." The track can be found on the "Roadrunner United: The All-Star Sessions" CD, in stores now. Boasting 57 artists from 45 of Roadrunner's past and present bands, the album contains original tracks that are collaborations between numerous Roadrunner stars.

LIFE OF AGONY recently parted ways with Epic Records after issuing only one album through the label — 2005's critically acclaimed "Broken Valley". The group's previous release was a live album and DVD, entitled "River Runs Again: Live 2003". The two-disc set was recorded during the group's sold-out reunion shows at Irving Plaza in New York City on January 3-4, 2003 and was issued through SPV Records worldwide.
